Tommy and Deirdre Davis
Pastor Tommy R. Davis
Pastor Tommy R. Davis has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for 25 years. He started preaching at the age of 14 years old at Greater Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana on Sunday, May 25, 1997 where Dr. James S. Hardison, Sr. serves as Pastor. He was ordained at Greater Live Oak under the Auspices of The Eighth Missionary Baptist Association in Alexandria, Louisiana under the leadership of Dr. James S. Hardison, Sr., Moderator/President on Sunday, December 29, 2002.
Pastor Tommy began his pastoral ministry in February 2010 at New Hope #1 Baptist Church in Hanna, Louisiana which is in the Coushatta area. Pastor Tommy served there until August 2014 and obeyed the Lord to relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma at that time. Pastor Tommy and his wife, Pastor Deirdre L. Davis heard the voice of God telling them to move to Tulsa, because the Tulsa area is where they would eventually launch a church. They joined Amazing Grace Christian Center in Tulsa upon their arrival and were also licensed there on Sunday, October 2, 2016. They were ordained by Childress Covenant International, Inc. also which took place at Amazing Grace Christian Center on Friday, July 29, 2022.
Pastor Tommy is educated. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies and Master of Divinity degree both from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He believes in being educated and that we should never stop learning.
Pastor Tommy is an obedient servant of God and follows his direction. He has been married for 14 years to Pastor Deirdre and have 2 children, Dylan Davis & Destinee McCullough.
Pastor Deirdre L. Davis
Pastor Deirdre L. Davis has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for 9 years. She started preaching at New Hope #1 Baptist Church in Hanna, Louisiana (Coushatta area) on Sunday, May 25, 2013 where her husband, Pastor Tommy R. Davis served as Pastor. She was also ordained at New Hope #1 Baptist Church on Sunday, June 21, 2014 under her husband’s leadership.
Pastor Deirdre served at New Hope in many capacities until August 2014 when she and her husband obeyed the Lord and relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma at that time. Pastor Deirdre and her husband heard the voice of God telling them to move to Tulsa, because the Tulsa area is where they would eventually launch a church. Pastor Deirdre and her husband joined Amazing Grace Christian Center in Tulsa upon their arrival and were also licensed there on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Pastor Deirdre is educated. She has a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Pastor Deirdre is a firm believer in education and advises people especially youth to make sure they are educated and continue to learn.
Pastor Deirdre loves the Lord. She is a strong Christian believer and is willing to do whatever the Lord wants her to do. She has been married for 14 years to Pastor Tommy and have 2 children, Dylan Davis & Destinee McCullough.
